Silver ions are naturally occurring particles of silver (Ag⁺). When bacteria come into contact with them, the silver ions penetrate their outer surface and interfere with their normal function. This makes it harder for the bacteria to grow and multiply on the fabric.

By helping reduce bacterial build-up, our silver ion silk pillowcase stays fresher between washes and may help minimise the presence of acne-causing bacteria on the pillowcase surface.
